The Example Pub

The example pub is Stone's oldest pub and is the best place to meet and chat, whether over a quick drink or a relaxing meal.

Harry and Sally are ready behind the bar with a large selection of drinks, including real ales, scrumpy, perry and many different wines.

Bob and Diane will prepare and cook fresh food for you, including their speciality dish of sausages and mash, with sausages selected from the local butchers.

The example pub has modern facilities such as live football and rugby on Sky, but the attractive timbered building is listed, and dates from 1674. There were inns on the site from much earlier than that!
